  2. I had an 8 hour flight to Hawaii and there was no inflight tv or internet it was horrible

  3. Airlines can’t make IFE screens mandatory on some narrow body aircraft as they are designed to use short to medium range routes and if every aircraft had an IFE screen then the airline would pay a ridiculous amount of money to buy, overhaul and maintain the entertainment screens. And newer aircraft built by Boeing or airbus may sometimes not be installed with inflight entertainment screens due to cost cutting and efficiency since most people would just use their cellphones or iPads instead of using the IFE screen at all plus most IFE screens are found on wide-body aircraft (such as the 777, 787, A350 ,A380, and 747-8) which are used for long haul 13+ hours transatlantic or transpacific flights across the world due to an extreme amount of boredom from the passengers if their devices are dead or if they forget their devices.
