Pork Beef meatballs?
Hi Gary. Just seeing the menu seemed to shriek American fast food vibes and I’ve never heard of this particular chain. Personally, I wouldn’t be attracted to the dubious hygiene of the restaurant and the dishes really didn’t appeal to me as they didn’t look , and from your account, didn’t taste very exciting, appealing or delicious!I I do think it’s a pity that folk pay such high prices for such average food. If I was visiting the U.K., I’d be highly unlikely to make a beeline for this restaurant! ☹️😧
F&B is living off the reputations of great independent Italian restaurants. Try Da Alfredo in Twickenham for the real deal.
Frankie and Bennies isn’t bad, it’s just so bang average.
The pizza express in Colchester is actually pretty decent for a chain pizza restaurant.

Went to one 15 years ago was tye worst food iv tasted.Its not actually even proper food that’s why all processed crap

i remember going to frankie and bennys since the early 2000s but it was good, great meals and service😅 i can think of other worst places like table table the service is very slow and the food was average, as alwaaaaays let’s give it a go👍

That food doesn't look good at all Gray. Also a mushy meatball means over processed or leftover from the day before. Smh that's just wrong. As a customer your food should always be fresh and made to order.

i used to love frankie and benny's as a kid, every birthday dinner there, always getting the pizza, loved it – havent been back for 15 years
Frankey and bennys use to be the best. And over the years it has lost its quality. And now where I live they have closed down. There used to be two in Peterborough one in Spalding one in kings lynn and Huntingdon. Now I don’t know where to go. I would go just for old time sake. I use to love the mixed grill plater. It was cheap £19.99and plenty of good food. Last time I went it was £32.99. And not that much food on the plate. Very sad.
I've never been to a f&b. But I imagine rents are high for a place with high sq footage. So that could be why prices are a bit high and staff is run off their feet

I went to the one in Kingston Surrey many years with my daughters , they liked it but was not for me , they were 4 and 6 at the time lol Yes not a place to go back to ,looks even worse then i remember lol
