In this Uncharted MEGA Episode, celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay, travels to different corners of the United States of America to unlock the secrets of regional and unique cuisines. His journey takes him to the Alaska Panhandle to learn how to cook seal with a native Tlingit elder, to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula to spearfish in Lake Superior, and to Maine, ‘the lobster capital of the world.’ Featuring three, full episodes:

Alaska’s Panhandle – 00:00
Chef Gordon Ramsay journeys to the rugged Alaskan Panhandle to unlock the secrets of Alaskan cuisine. On his adventure, he learns how to cook seal with a native Tlingit elder, climbs a sheer rock face in a snowstorm and goes grouse hunting before putting his newfound knowledge to the test at a feast with legendary local chef Lionel Uddipa.

Michigan’s Yooper Cuisine – 46:17
Chef Ramsay is in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula to uncover the region’s culinary gems. He goes spearfishing amongst shipwrecks in Lake Superior, hunts woodcock, and helps a local monk build a fence in exchange for a taste of his legendary thimbleberry jam. But if Gordon can’t get up to speed with the culinary secrets of the UP quickly enough to impress the local Yoopers, he’ll be forever be branded a Troll!

The Maine Ingredient – 1:30:18
Chef Ramsay discovers why the American state of Maine is called the ‘lobster capital of the world’. Along the rugged coastline, he struggles to keep up with a team of lobster fisherwomen, dives for clams, harvests oysters, forages seaweed in freezing waters, and tests his lumberjack skills. Can he earn the status of a true Mainer as he tests his culinary skills against local legend, chef Melissa Kelly, a two-time James Beard award-winner?
