I like that Tilly went to culinary school. By learning straight from Gordon, she'd follow everything he does without question, even when he's wrong. And with how stubborn Gordon can be, there'd not be much wiggle room. At least now she's forming her own opinions and questioning what he does in turn. She's become her own chef who can still learn things from her dad, but isn't beholden to them.
