First…! Greetings, Great companion set- Thank you for such a great idea. I wonder if there was a way of synchro the water lights across the the 3 sets- that can add "movement" to the sea. Add a sound box with calm beach sound and we have a therapeutic display. We say, Alexa, turn on the beach display..!!! 🎉🎉 63 printed bricks and a removable kitchen that can be displayed outside. The set is a must-get-set.
Of course, I’d already been waiting for the video. Yes, it’s a great set too. I like each and every one of these beach live scenes. But what I really don’t understand is that it doesn’t all fit together 100 per cent. The waterline, the colour of the water, the shoreline. The proportions aren’t quite right either. The side connectors…
and I don’t understand that aspect of the design.
It doesn’t look very cohesive when you put it all together. I would have made the buildings a bit smaller (2–3 studs smaller) to achieve a uniform, undulating beach-water line.
So far, I’ve only got the lighthouse and the lifeguard tower. But next on my list is probably the surf shop.
I also always find it a shame when the back has absolutely no design at all. An advertising banner, a seaside graffiti scene, a small porthole window.
Otherwise, as always, it’s designed with great attention to detail. I would have preferred the orange colour to be used more subtly. But I’m sure I’ll end up buying it at some point. Now I’m peckish after looking at it…🤣
