    There is no single cuisine called "Indian food." India is home to many distinct regional cuisines, each with its own ingredients, techniques, and traditions. North Indian cuisine is just one regional cuisine and should not be used as a blanket representation of all Indian food. For example, Malabar cuisine should be recognized as Indian Malabar food, not simply labeled as "Indian food."
