  1. I stopped eating at Chinese restaurants because the kitchens are full of Hispanics. There is one restaurant I know of that has actual Chinese people cooking. I don't eat franchised restaurants, the food is ridiculously expensive for what you get. I do like Chick Fil-a. Burger chains don't use real beef anymore. I don't eat mystery meat. Taco Bell is disgusting.

  2. Its not that hard. Its just the money and risk just not worth it. Democracies around the world are slowly turned into oligarchy and the victims would be SMEs. Taking SMEs bussinesses with license, IP or permits laws are one of oligarch aspirants method to become oligarchs.

  3. You might see the food go into a cultural change. What used to be Wonton soup will be Juanton soup.

  4. The Chinese restaurant that I work for has mostly Hispanic cooks/kitchen workers and a couple that are Asian who don’t speak English everyone who can speak much English is in the front of the store doing easier jobs. The immigrants who cannot speak English are I’m sure most desperate to be able to earn a living but the owners don’t do the cooking
    But that’s just my experience
my daughter is half Asian and got a job there first as a waitress and when I found out they would hire a white person I got a job there too.

  5. All I hear is 2nd generation wealth isn't willing to accel at "menial labor" and be a staple in their community. More people care about and will visit your restaurant if its good over their doctor's office, and a great food service provider can make way more than any salary job if they work for it

  6. We will see cascade failure in our lifetime. The stage is already set. The last 20 years have devastating to the working world. We're seeing signs of competency crisis already.

  7. The market will correct itself in time. If demand is high, the supply will arrive somehow.

  8. I just paid $60 for 2 lunch specials and four additional egg rolls. The eggrolls were $6.90 for 2. They are HALF the size of egg rolls from 1980. People can't afford to work 4 hours to pay for lunch!

  9. I know a bunch of Chinese people who started restaurants and farms and the last 30 or 40 years, their kids have refused to take over the family business and do it and they are all closing down when the parents passed away because they’re free kids refused to follow in the business. Not only them, but I know some white people that had motorcycle shops and different things and their kids refused to follow the business either. They were going to start their own business like playing video games at home alone going to bars and getting drunk for a living. It happens all over. Their parents raised them, took care of them did everything for him, but didn’t teach him how to do anything and now they don’t know how to do anything and when their parents are gone, I worked at the food bank. For a few years and I seen a bunch of them that used to come in at some of the restaurants I worked at, and when the Okinawan woman who ran it passed away, most of the people in the neighborhood were all crying not because she went away, but because they didn’t know how to cook or feed themselves and they were getting all of their meals there they had no idea how to do anything and now they’re only food Supply just went away.

  10. You're only allowed to have some of these properties because of segregation so now that segregation is over sell it to a black person so they can sell black food in their black neighborhood

  11. She's right. We'll all be eating corporate engineered food before long if we don't learn to cook for ourselves.

  12. Let’s not forget this major point about Chinese restaurants of late, the food is not the same quality as years ago, poor quality, and It’s hard to find a good Chinese restaurant these days.

  13. That is a very good point, if they had hire workers other than their own, would they have it that hard. Let’s face facts young lady, selfishness and discrimination is playing a big role in the problem now.

  14. I guarantee you that if you had these Asian people coming over to America to start these Asian fusion restaurants that speak English really well, they would do extremely well

  15. It's all family owned restaurants, not just the Chinese. Well, except Mexican restaurants…they are booming!

  16. Had a Korean owned store they sold hoagies. So old that my mother use to go there when she was a kid. They sold their store but they did they trained the new owners on how to make the hoagies for a year. It went to 💩 after they left because the new owners started buying cheaper products
