  1. If you shop them right you can get a good base for 2 or 3 meals if you supplement them with cheaper sides like soup, au gratin potatoes, mac & cheese, etc. You can freeze the deli meals too and they thaw still tasting pretty fresh. They’re a good substitute or base for full meals sometimes and they are always a better and more affordable option than fast food

  2. I cook better steaks then every restaurant in town, and yet my wife still goes to TX roadhouse for the atmosphere. I make sure not to get the steak because it's never worth it, but not much these days is.

  3. McDonald’s and others are all multi billion dollar corporations and they want more of my money. I refuse to give those bloodsuckers any more of my money.

  4. All these companies are greedy. Steal as much as you can while you can.
Knock off brands are no longer cheap. Great value is cheaper by a few cents. Everything is corrupt

  5. I buy what folks bought back in the old days, dry beans, potatoes, onions, etc. I make a 5 quart pot of chili (in the crock pot), for $5.37.

  6. “Convince costs”, you don’t like it, learn to cook. Fast food and grocery store workers deserve that livable wage and grocery industry is well known to have very slim margins. So go work more hours and quit yer whinin’.

  7. Basically we have turned the world into a campus. The world university and the supermarkets are now the chow halls.

We live in a Role playing Game.

  8. As a late millennial, I can say I cook my own meals. Breakfast lunch n dinner. If you have to eat out, I’d say this is the better option. Money wise n health wise.

  9. Thank u Bud for sharing this. Sharon sent me some pics this morning when I checked in on her. I continue to send pet food directly to her when I can and have " adopted" one of her seniors. Barnardsville needs our help. Hopefully everyone can help a bit. 💜

  10. Typical lazy Americans. Just buy ingredients and cook at home. Convenient but expensive. No time to cook? But time for TV and other activities……Lazy!!

  11. They are doing it because they see it being successful over in Japan. It has nothing to do with prices. Convenience has a price too.

  12. The correct answer to "Why you don't eat fast food?" is: Because it is poison
And so is most of that garbage being sold in the grocery store. Here's a hint: If the food you're buying is required to have a nutrition label, it's because the food you're buying is poison.

  13. Everybody has time to cook. No excuse. If you didn't have fast food, what would people do???

Stock pile. Leave overpriced unhealthy fast food alone.

  14. goodness, get a crock pot! slice up 2 sweet onions, add pork chops, 1/4 cup water, 1 chicken bouillon cube, pour on some b-b-q sauce, cook on 'slow' 8-10 hrs, serve over rice, steam frozen veggies while rice cooks, dinner is served! Cheap, good, filling.
Do you really need an 80 yr. old granny to explain this stuff to you?

  15. My most favorite is Whole Foods hot bar!! So delicious! Amazing menu!! Almost restaurant quality.

Fast food these days = expensive, not healthy, small portions and sad condiments, and not even delicious!

  16.
