  1. This is a good idea regardless of your political beliefs. Cheap meals with high quality ingredients that anyone can cook!

  2. Awesome. But the first recipe featured salmon, and fresh salmon as compared to the farm Ray salmon is quite expensive and even the farm race salmon is getting a little bit high, so just say salmon is affordable for the average American is a little bit questionable at this point for me but as far as the health issue benefits salmon, and other oily fishes are excellent

  3. Public is just stupid and spoiled…our parents and grandparents lived through the depression and not having enough food on the table partly due to income. BUT they survived, were healthy and we enjoyed those same meals growing up and today. I still cook their recipes and learned to spread the money around. I may shop at Costco once a month – then I cook and freeze meals and some of them are around $5.00. Practice makes perfect as opposed to the younger generation who expects free food and the top of the line brands.

  4. Let’s face it, a lot of Americans don’t even know how to cook beside making a pre boxed hamburger helper. Any help will be wonderful to give people the skills and they will learn that eating Whole Foods is not only healthier but less expensive. I’ve done it for over 10 years and 98% of what is in the grocery store I don’t buy. Shop the perimeter, produce, meat ,dairy and some frozen vegetables thrown in when fresh are unavailable .its not a difficult concept and will save you in many ways.

  5. This a AMAZING!
Hindsight taught me being poor was a blessing when my children were small. We at REAL food because that was what we could afford. Processed food is so much more expensive and so unhealthy!

  6. Good place to also encourage people to grow some food. Even on a patio! You can purchase seeds and plant starts with your SNAP benefits! WAY more bang for your buck and no parasites or e.coli

  7. I grew up on "salmon patties" this is just a little different and we always used canned salmon, that;s what we could afford. Thank you for the new show, I love it already. I sure wish you could put a stop to all the chemicals they spray on the food in the fields and the junk they put in the animal food to fatten them up so they get more money for them! I truly believe the food we're eating is causing cancer and killing us!

  8. Can't imagine why I would listen to anything this man says. He has demonstrated he doesn't believe in science.

  9. Love this idea! Thank you, Sec'y Kennedy & participating chefs! I love learning & hope this is helpful to all Americans! Looking forward to more!

  10. Salmonella eggs Roadkill, measles, exploding lettuce and roadside rancid tomatoes…… no money for this. Stale food for all…. no Healthcare. Just solent green for all. Morons.

  11. Looking forward to the recipes, but can you please stop the chem trails!!! That would go a long way in helping us get back to our health. Why is nothing being done. Everyone I know can’t understand why this is being so ignored.

  12. Americans are to lazy to cook !
