  1. I randomly watched an episode of Phil does something or other on a long-haul flight when I didn't have time to start another movie, and was instantly hooked. So happy to see these turning up on YouTube now.

  2. I cant believe I lived in the Fairfax for years and never heard of this place. Thanks for promoting our hard working immigrants, Phill. The world is a better place because of people like you.

  3. The menu prices at the Smoke House are surprisingly reasonable gives its Hollywood location. Cheesebread $7/9 and Ribeye Steak is $45 extra costs for add-ons like salad eyc..

  4. My step-Grandpa immigrated here in 1933. He opened his first restaurant a few years later in Balboa, CA. One of the family recipes he brought with him was for garlic bread. He served it in all of the restaurants he owned. He married my Grama in 1947. From 1951 to 1973, they owned a steak house restaurant in Santa Ana, CA. It was famous for its free garlic bread, which looks exactly like what The Smokehouse serves. A year after she retired, my Grama gave the Orange County Register permission to publish her garlic bread recipe. I wish I'd known about The Smokehouse when I lived in So Cal. I would have gone there just for that bread!😄

  5. I love you, Phil, and everything you produce, but I hope you're ready to stand guard at the doors of this obviously exceptional restaurant; the very talented staff are what the stinkin' ice bunch are out to get. Damn, I'm a wet blanket…AND I WANT SOME OF THAT FABULOUS PRIME RIB RIGHT NOW!!!!

  6. Smoke House is the best! David and the whole staff are so incredibly nice and welcoming. Always my go-to place when I'm in LA
