This is a cultural show created for Vietnamese people, so expecting it to be in English reflects a misunderstanding of its purpose. You wouldn’t go to Canada and expect to hear anything other than English; the same principle applies here.
Not recognizing the first act, where the queen dances at the end, shows that its cultural meaning wasn’t understood. It’s an authentic traditional performance from northern Vietnam. When you attend a cultural show, the goal is to learn about the culture, not to be treated like nobility. Even nobles must learn about other cultures to truly understand and appreciate them.
If cultural content feels confusing or offensive, it may be worth learning more about your own cultural background before critiquing another. Creating videos about culture requires understanding it deeply, not just reacting to what feels unfamiliar.
