The UK’s WORST Burger Restaurant? Not Impressed!

I’m trying Gourmet Burger Kitchen for the first time today. Despite being open since 2001, it now has one of the worst reputations for burger restaurants in the UK!

  1. GBK used to be so good back in the day, the kiwi burger with pineapple, beetroot and egg was amazing and unique, have never seen it elsewhere. Sadly they have closed so many restaurants over the past few years, I do miss not having a local one anymore.

  2. I love it when you have to send a message around the world to someone 10 ft away from you to place an order.

If I need fill-belly and I need to stop I normally go for Burger King, but my partner Jen gets the most amazing burgers from our local butcher and rustles up the BEST burgers ON THE PLANET! with a little Stilton, fried onions, thinly cut tomatoes, Tabasco Scorpion sauce and NO Brioche! Happy days!

  3. Gary – I am sure I speak for at least some of your viewers when I say you need to get out of London more… It is fairly entertaining seeing you review posh and not so posh places in and around London but it's getting a bit boring. Give us some deserving gems us mere mortals up north may seek out/can afford and who would benefit from our custom more than those I mentioned earlier…

  4. SMASHED…..πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”, more trodden on.πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…. Plus a plate would be nice….and clean the grill too

  5. It looked great but I take your word for it my friend, I had some great looking burgers that were awful, better luck next time, I know you will keep SMILING 😊

  6. Didn't look good, Gary hopefully you and camera son will bring us something better for our taste budsπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ€’πŸ€’πŸ€’πŸ€’πŸ€’πŸ€’

  7. I have issues with all the sauces and toppings and burgers so big you can't fit them in your mouth without disengaging your jaw first. I'm old fashioned I guess but I love a plain old cheeseburger with some fried onions.

  8. It must have been a gourmet burger! that word is in their name so why would they lie? (joke)

one of many places where reading the menu is more satiating than dining on the actual product.

  9. Gary – my home town! πŸ˜‚ if you want a family run business with very good value for money, visit Sen Ichie in Wokingham

  10. You should try the Burger King at Leigh Delamere services on the M4… but wait 2 hours before you do the review, it'll be explosive.

    Ask me how I know.

  11. brioche craze back like 10 years ago needs to jog on horrible buns

GBK is dead same with honest you can’t be paying that money for a burger which is rancid

  12. About 10 years ago the burgers were fantastic! πŸ€€β€¦went their last year for my birthday and was really unimpressed πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

  13. Brioche buns. Can someone kill these fads taking over and removing choice. To paraphrase Malcolm Gladwell: "There is no perfect pasta sauce, but rather perfect pasta sauces"

  14. I quite enjoy brioche but never at a restaurant has to be homemade for them to be any good now adays

  15. A good burger place to try is Smiths of bourton. Tried it from one of their food trucks at an event and they seemed very passionate about what they do, great burger too!
