Ya just gotta scan the QR code on the door you just walked in, find the restaurant location, fill out a few personal questions, reply to their verification email reply to their verification email reply to their verification email, prove you're not a robot, create a user name, prove you're not a robot, make up a password, prove you're not a robot, confirm your password, reply to password changed email…prove you're not a robot, give permission to locate you, find the restaurant location and THEN view a pdf of their menu that MIGHT load on your phone.

Just as bad is when you get fast food drive through and you almost never go. Over 75% of the menu isnt even on the board and its usually only displayed the top 5 items + the seasonal items. They say “what would you like?” And I say, “I have no idea what is on the menu” because no I don’t want your stupid app. I just want to know my options to make a decision.
We once went to Dunkin and I ask.. “Do you still have just regular coffee with creamer?” And they say, “yeah, its just not on the menu screen”. WHY NOT??? They are so focused on selling high dollar margin items by making them the only visible menu items that they forgot it would upset people who just want something simple and to gtfo. We just don’t go at this point.

Hostile fast-food sellers…. They deserve bankruptcy, they get your money instead.
Forcing large tips for fast food workers is the only thing inaccurate about this.

Wait, is this something that restaurants and/or fast food places actually do now? I havent been in one in like, over 10 years, and any time I hear about them nowadays, I'm thinking I havent missed out on anything at all. But this is even stupider than usual.
Has anyone else been entertained by the squirrels in this video?! I did not see any squirrel-specific comments and am humbled I'm the only one.
I like how the menus might just be a png that they could update when they up the prices, but that's too hard so you find that what you ordered is more expensive than what the menu shows.
