  1. Because they're owned by the same parent company, Lunchables cheese (edit: slices, not sauce) is always Kraft.

  2. they fry the chips in house the oil probably was old. used to work at taco bell and i fried many of chips in dark oil. usually you would want to come by and ask them when they change their oil and then get the fried stuff. some stores change it twice a week but if your store is busy the oil goes dark quickly before cleaning.

  3. Why eat a platter of nachos when you could eat a platter of tattchos? For those who don't know, everything is the same, except you use tater tots instead of nacho chips. So much better 🀀

  4. id venture to say the cheese sauce broke beacuse you had the evaporated milk to hot when you added the cheese

  5. My level 10 nachos: steak fajitas, over a bed of chips, covered in my custom cheese sauce (1-third pepper-jack, 1-third cheddar, 1-third Velveeta {don't shoot me, I like the taste and something is missing without it} with a pinch of Sodium Citrate to keep things from splitting, and some roasted jalapenos finely diced).

  6. I WAS JUST TALKING ABOUT LEVEL NINE AS A HYPOTHETICAL!

Four days ago, I did an experiment with no-bake cookies, because I had this idea that if I browned the butter first and used some premium ingredients I could really elevate the recipe

I made a control batch with cheapo everything, store brand cocoa and peanut butter, imitation vanilla, etc. The test batch was alllllllll the goods, I browned the butter, used extra fine baker's sugar, dutched cocoa, name brand peanut butter and a single origin vanilla, and the end result was very much like these level nine nachos: you can absolutely taste the premium ingredients, but they're WASTED on the recipe and concept, and the cheaper version was better

tl;dr use quality ingredients but don't throw your money away
