  1. Why are Americans so hung up on food? Rocks are far denser by volume, they are chock full of minerals and oh the variety! Don't get me started, there are so many kinds of rocks.

  2. "Water is food" would help explain why it costs so much (that and the fact we need to share it with the machines now).

  3. "Should food prices go up, or should portion sizes shrink?"
Me, a visionary: "Why not both?"
Let’s double the prices and cut the portions in half. That's barely a disguised inflation of 300%!

  4. Spending on food is simply out of control. We should stop with those bad habits. We should earn more and put it to more worthwhile products to increase shareholder values for all of us. Those are the essentials we need right now.

  5. It's really nice to see everyone reach across the aisle and agree on this very important issue!

  6. I hope Clifford Banes will do a spot sometime explaining to parents about how video games can't be paused sometimes.

  7. Nothing is more fundamental to our national security than food. This radical ideology of paying less for food not only puts everyday Americans in danger but also shows the ultimate disrespect for our brave men and women in uniform. It’s so un-American that it’s jihadist.

  8. I get it, Clifford. I frequently refuse to stop playing Dark Souls just because I can't pause it.

  9. What are these people talking about? Making food more experience can't solve any problem.

We should pattern every kind of food as well as the process of growing and making them, then shut down all the farms and food factories. Let the people pay to grow their own food, and pay to cook the food!

  10. I know it's just meant for the sake of jokes and such, but this is a really perfect encapsulation of manufacturing consent.

  11. This is supposed to be satire but in reality politicians think food should cost more because that would make the population easier to control and less likely to revolt.

  12. More food though means less money for the money hole and a true American puts money in it's hole.

  13. Wow I can't believe that after all these years ol' Cliff still has his show. Can't wait to see him on it one day.

  14. For just one day, The onion should do nothing but plagiarize fox news articles (because fox is a joke) and then the next day get upset at fox for plagiarizing the americas finest news outlet
