The Most Expensive Thali in Goa? 🍽️
Today Shabana tried something unexpected — a thali in an upmarket, fine-dining setting in Panaji, Goa.
We’re used to thalis being traditional, comforting, and reasonably priced… but this one came with elegant interiors, refined presentation, attentive service — and a premium price tag.
So the big question was:
👉 Can a thali feel luxurious?
👉 Does the quality justify the high-end pricing?
From flavour balance and portion size to presentation and overall ambience, we break it down honestly.
This isn’t everyday dining — it’s positioned as a refined culinary experience, ideal for special occasions, date nights, or when you want something elevated.

An elegant, high-end dining experience right in Panaji. The ambience, presentation and overall setting definitely lean toward premium — and the pricing reflects that.
We came to see whether a refined setting truly elevates traditional flavours… and we gave our honest thoughts.
And just when we thought the experience was complete, Shabana discovered something unexpected at the end — Niro, a refreshing local Goan drink that added a lovely finishing touch 🌴

Considering the price of the thali, the serradura was ridiculously expensive. The thali price is not bad and there are many restaurants that aren't fine dining that have the same price. But given the cheap ingredients used to make serradura, it's probably the most expensive serradura in Goa.
❤
Really appreciate the hard work ..shooting ..tasting .traveling..an most of all for showing us all that ur a food lover ..god bless ur work
The price of the thali in that ambiance sounds so much better than the one at Workshop which goes to rs 450 for kingfish thali and gives you 2 tsps of veggies and an underwhelming kismur. The taste was good but I’m still balking at the price !!
Forget the CM views.
Just cook at home which is more reasonable.
Did I hear Nasi Goreng? 😋
