Would've been funny if you threw the broccoli into the cheese sauce and tossed it around. The employees would be looking at you crazy 😂
Flounder is supposed to be soft tho 😂
Idk if they have bowls there but I'd get a bowl of mac n cheese then put more cheese sauce and fried shrimp then a mountain of flounder on top, hell yeah ☺
Never had a go-to celebration restaurant, we just go to whatever buffet is close by, back then there was 3 now there's only 2 or we would go to Denny's (the one in my city gone af 😢) or Outback Steakhouse or Sizzlers or Red Lobster or Olive Garden. Very rarely we would go to Chili's and Chevys because they're hella out the way and the Chevys at one mall closed a long time ago 😢
You went to Golden Corral and had vegetables and cake for 20 dollars. I am very confused that you went to a STEAK PLACE and got fish and NO MEAT. Did they run out of COWS OR HOGS,BUFFALO'S, ROAD KILL? PLEASE DO TELL!!😮😮
Dallas BBQs 😂! Every damn celebration, milestone, and even mourning! 😂 If you’re a millennial and from NYC.. you know exactly what I’m talking about! I take my kids there now and they LOVE it.. I recognize it’s boxed yellow rice and mid food overall. Ah but the memories. ❤
Quincys, shoneys, western sizzling, corndog 7, pizza hut 🛖 was the move…. 80s baby ❤ and of course the #oldschool mom and pop shops had the best dam burger 🍔 baskets on the planet. One specifically i remember in the country where I was raised called drewerys… man them burgers 🍔 was the best. Its of course shut down now. My grandma took over for a while and cooked there but they closed it down. Its one of the oldest lil buildings. ❤ but if I had to pick one I really miss top tier is Quincys ❤ those big fat butter 🧈 rolls and the chicken drummetes… o yea and Ryan's buffet. They are all gone 😢 there is a few quincys left but they r a bit far from me. Shoneys had the works 💪 for the breakfast ❤ I remember them being so packed man. ❤
Since I was born in 84’ I’m Pretty sure I’m going to see Tons of Red Lobster or Tony Romas in the comments because I know those were my two growing up.
Corporate greed has definitely caused the food quality to drop since we were kids. We're almost eating plastic and play doh at this point, and for 3 times more. I used to eat at Taco Bell everyday as a kid, now I can barely stomach a soft taco. It's sad
