🌞🍃 One Pleasant Summer Morning in the Garden… 🍃🌞
One beautiful morning, I stepped into the garden to pluck some fresh fruits 🌳🍒. In our village, summer brings a magical variety of wild fruits 🌿✨ — jamun, karvanda, kokum, jackfruit, mango 🥭… their sweet aroma fills the air 💛
But beyond these popular fruits, there are many hidden gems that people rarely know about 🤫🍇. So I set out to explore and collect some of these unique wild fruits 🌿
🌳 First, I gathered scramberry / lovlolika (also known as Indian plum or lubica). Since they grow on tall trees, my kind neighbors helped me pluck them 🤝💚
🍐 Then I collected more fresh treasures:
Pink guava 💗, rose water apple 🌸, Indian cherry 🍒, and star fruit ⭐
🏡 Back home, I washed everything and got cooking!
🍓 Made a gorgeous pink mixed fruit jam using cherry, pink guava & muskmelon 😍
🍯 Prepared a quick sweet pickle with scramberry, star fruit & rose apple — absolutely delicious! 🤤
🥗 The next day, I made a fresh fruit salad using all these wild fruits 🌈🍍
Added longan (similar to lychee) for that extra juicy sweetness 😋
🍞✨ And finally… crispy bread with homemade jam & egg — perfect for tea time ☕💛
Enjoyed every bite with my neighbor aunty 🫶
