London’s ONLY 24/7 Fine Dining… Is It Any Good?

London’s ONLY 24/7 fine dining restaurant… but is it actually worth it?

I visited Duck & Waffle, one of London’s most famous restaurants, to find out whether this unique 24 hour dining experience lives up to the hype — or if it’s just a gimmick with a great view.

Located 40 floors above the City of London, Duck & Waffle is known for its incredible skyline views and its unusual concept: a fine dining restaurant that never closes. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, dinner, or 3am, you can order from a full menu at any time of day.

But how good is the food really? And is it worth the price?

In this video, I review:
– The atmosphere and views over London
– The service and overall experience
– The menu, pricing, and value for money
– The famous duck & waffle dish

  1. Wouldn't be for me (besides the prices, ouch!) – I'm afraid of heights! (definitely couldn't sit by a window or ride the outside elevator!!!)

  2. Now combine your culinary adventurism with a global economic report.
The possibilities are endless , salt and pepper shakers, plates, knives and forks can all be used to visually demonstrate your point .

  3. I used to love working in this building mostly to troll the security staff in the main lobby… I believe it's now called Salesforce Tower. The security staff seem to hate scruffy looking Asian people (like me). It was only when the lower door/lift staff realised I had a pass to the main building (where I worked) that they let me in the D&W. Separate to the D&W, I'm pretty certain they train the security staff in the main lobby to kick out any Asian with casual clothing. I always used to see them kicking out Chinese people who had selfie sticks. I found it quite amusing, to the point I would try and pretend to be an Asian tourist just to keep the security staff on their toes. For some reason Chinese tourists were obsessed with the lobby fish tank. I'd always know when there was new staff because they didn't recognise me and wold always try and kick me out before I got my security pass out. The glass lifts are really cool. If you jump as you descend, you'll end up suspended in air for a while (probably not advisable).

  4. Joe Blogs Restaurant Review channel is fantastic. This was a good review as always. I think it was worth more like £20.

  8. I'm really enjoying these food reviews. I must visit the Heron Tower soon. Handy to know if miss the 01.05 out of Waterloo.

  9. You could order a https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horseshoe_sandwich in the Springfield IL for similar combinations. Bread / toast / pancake / waffle on plate, breakfast meat & egg or lunch or dinner meat on bread, Potatoes (french fries, hash browns, tater tots, etc) on meat, gravy or (Welsh Rarebit or other) cheese sauce on everything. Keeps 30 local restaurants open against national chains.
