Your old videos where wayy better
I haven't had panda express in the last 10 years that was actually good at all.
Panda Express?
You'd think the owners of Panda Express would be ashamed of their stuff.
I really wish that authentic Chinese food was much more available in the US. There's some dishes or restaurants here and there but it's nothing close.
panda express is fake chinese food ngl
Of all places panda express it's not authentic at all it's been westernized they don't like it, it is not made from cat or dog meat
Maaann id love to see their impressions on UK Chinese food in comparison! Just would be a very hard video to film haha
Fortune cookies are a Japanese American invention.
Thank you!!! ๐๐๐
Take them to first markham place and see what they think
Panda Express and its customers are hot garbage. Do the same video with hood Chinese restaurants; those are true American Chinese restaurants.
They were way too generous with the pointsโฆ.
At least they know what they are talking about and not random Chinese Americans .
Side note very impressive in getting lefties and righties sitting together symmetrically lol
There are a few things wrong with this experiment. First, the guests are the most prissy and picky eaters, where their mission is to destroy "fake Chinese food" when in actuality, Panda Express is created by a Chinese-born Taiwanese chef. Because it's a fast-food chain, at best this is cafeteria-level food so it must be judged accordingly. Food in China is hugely varied and on average, the quality is quite low especially when it comes to food stalls. Not to mention, beef was scarce up to recent times, so either it was expensive, hard to find, or bad quality. Panda Express is actually very good for what it is.
Go check the video: "Chinese People Try Panda Express For The First Time"
The thumbnail girls were hilarious ๐๐๐
I hate this so much, they don't understand that most of these dishes were born out of not having access to ingredients that they were used to.
new try mexican chinese/chinese mexican cuisine
And we have Americans suggesting "Chinese" restaurant serving the same thing. These ain't Chinese foods.
Chinese food is regional. There are people in southern regions of China who've never had northern cuisine. Chinese American is a regional chinese food. There is a reason why Chinese American is so popular in Hong Kong.
I am an American white person and I hate panda express
Let Chinese ppl try Swedish food!!! =)
If you compare to authentic food in China then yeah its not so good. But as American style chinese food this is what I would want to get. My parents are from Taiwan and my mother makes authentic food but sometimes i also like the comfort of Americanized Chinese food. Like the only time we'd get it is from the food court.
Panda express is fast food for a reasons. Some of the Chinese American authentic food they need to try because those are either hit or miss
Saying ' it feels like they're borrowing my Chinese culture' while looking like Nikki Minaj is fucked up.
The girls are very annoying and overreacting. The guys are mostly fine.
Plus, there are foods like these in other cuisines and they're calling it ugly.
The guy in the green top reminds me of Donnie Yen ๐ – think it's the voice
The Hong Kong guys have a mature take on this while the rest definitely had bias going in. Panda is also not the best benchmark for American Chinese and I've definitely had better. American Chinese is targeting non-Chinese eaters so it's not surprising they did not enjoy it. Also, heavy-makeup Beijing girl is definitely not Chinese culturally – she's either Canadian or American as she didn't even know Gailan Niu is the basis for brocolli beef.
waiting for Mary ig handle like the rest of us simps lol
yeah I totally believe they are newcomers
Who on the staff had to apologize to your guests gastronomically and digestively? ("Sorry for the sh!ts… !")
I think Panda Express would do better to say it's food is from a country that sounds Asian but is fictional. Maybe say it's from Ding Dong. Americans won't know the difference and we Asians can't say it's not authentic.
no one thinks panda express is real chinese lol it's chinese american and has its own lane. similar to how taco bell isn't mexican, it's taco bell.
Not a huge fan of Panda, but I prefer to Baby Bear, or whatever they had in Yangzhou.
Mary looking like that fried egg roll
just find and go to your mom and pop chinese takout place where you can pick and choose up to 4 items with chow mein /rice, soup and sometimes a drink included. the selections you will find is not something you will find at Panda. the portions and value can't be beat. oh yea..it taste better as well lol
you forgot to tell the story of how Chinese American food was born out of necessity everyone knows that itโs fast food
Shouldโve compared local authentic Chinese food places
I lowkey like their teriyaki chicken ๐
Then get off Sam's land
Ummmm … sure 'newcomers'!!
Why chinese people are so picky? I saw some single people in China that are looking for love and they are very demanding and so they having hard time finding a date or a love partner. They even have their parents involved in looking for a partner. Not one or nothing is perfect in the world if you want to eat good then cook your own food that way it suits to what you want to eat. Even your videos with Chinese Chefs and American Chefs are not this picky.
It's not authentic Chinese food in the same way toco bell is not authentic Mexican food.
