  3. Amazing why people nitpick at anything said. Sure not all suggestions are used in every Indian kitchen. Why not accept it in the spirit in which it’s given. Some of it may be repetative while others may already be known. No one’s wasting hours on this clip so why the negativity?

  4. I learned most of these from my Indian mother-in-law, God rest her. The trick of soaking whole onions is one I didn't know. Thanks for the tips.

  5. I m from Pakistan,these tips n tricks have been passed down to us through generations.its in appropriate to call these Indian. They belong to the subcontinent.

  6. I don’t like Indian cooking spices, chilli, ginger, cardamom etc.
    Don’t like roti’s or find added grease such as ghee anyway nice or appetising.
    There are names of things I don’t know of (tamarind), and onions and strong spices give me bloating and diarrhoea so not for me!

  9. Great tips and tricks , I use most of them .I store onions in the fridge , that eliminates putting them in cold water before cutting .

  10. Talk about indian cooking tips when no fridge and freezer. Grinder and blender.
    Like grating cold ginger out of the fridge.
    How did it all happen sans electronic appliances.
