About the Forager: Bo Brown is a wilderness survival instructor and author of Foraging the Ozarks and Foraging Central Grasslands. He regularly hosts nature walks at places like Dogwood Canyon Nature Park and Springfield Botanical Gardens, where he offers insightful information about edible and medicinal plants that could be growing wild in your own backyard.
About the Forager: Dyllan Dale is the owner of Wild Foods by Dyllan, where he offers pop-up dinners, foraging walks, catering, private dinners and general foraging advice. He holds a culinary degree and received mentorship from Rob Connoley of Bulrush in St. Louis. This now-shuttered restaurant was known for its Ozarks cuisine made with contemporary techniques and foraged and hunted foods.
About the Forager: Rachael West offers edible foraging hikes through local partners like Finley Farms. She also helps raise money for Springfield Community Gardens through her ongoing dinner series hosted inside Crystal Cave, north of Springfield. Each one features a 30-minute cave tour and a multicourse dinner made with foraged ingredients and locally sourced produce.
