Through CookUnity, L.A. celebrity chefs are expanding their reach beyond their restaurants and directly into their diners’ homes.
Meal delivery concepts have been on the rise, with platforms like Goop Kitchen, Methodology and Fitness Kitchen developing rapidly in the L.A. area. One such food delivery model has taken a similar approach, rising to meet the needs of busy individuals in search of a quality meal — and they’re aided by a number of influential voices within the local dining scene here in L.A.
Through CookUnity, a chef-driven meal service established in 2021, culinary icons like Iron Chef Cat Cora, acclaimed French restaurateur Ludo Lefebvre, and celebrity chef Shirley Chung are diversifying their approach to dining past the limitations of physical restaurant spaces.

Utilizing this platform, chefs design and cook their own dishes — delivering elevated restaurant-quality meals to food enthusiasts across major US markets. And since its L.A. debut in 2021, CookUnity has sold nearly 25 million meals.
The platform gives chefs the opportunity to explore new avenues within the ever-evolving food scene, introducing enthusiastic diners to new flavors and heritage cooking.
For Cora, who joined CookUnity in 2025, her line of meal kits on the platform is designed to showcase her Greek heritage. The former Iron Chef contestant sold more than 100,000 meals and has since expanded to Chicago, where she’s experienced even more demand for her dishes.
