Nationally and locally acclaimed chefs will serve gourmet brunch dishes at the event, now in its 29th year.
Meals on Wheels’ Director of Events, Regina Dodds, says about 10 local chefs will participate.
“Dru Tevis from Brûlé Bakery will be sharing the winning dessert from Season 9 of Food Network’s Holiday Baking Championship,” Dodds says. “Restaurants will be set up around the perimeter of the Chase Center, and guests are invited to visit each station and sample whatever is offered—whether it’s food from the chefs or selections from cocktail providers. Everything is included in the ticket price.”
The Celebrity Chefs’ Brunch will offer more than just food.
Fine wines, spirits, craft brews, a coffee bar, and soft drinks will also be available.
“There’s really something for everyone. Plus, we have live entertainment by Boots and Skirts,” Dodds says. “We also have a silent and basket auction featuring gorgeous jewelry, wine and spirit packages, artwork, and plenty of fun items.”
The primary goal of the Celebrity Chefs’ Brunch is to raise funds to support seniors in need across the area.
“So beyond the amazing food and drinks, what really matters is the impact,” Dodds says. “Every ticket sold helps Meals on Wheels Delaware support five meal preparation and delivery programs throughout the state, providing nutritious meals and vital social connection to more than 6,000 homebound seniors.”
The following organizations are responsible for serving approximately 5,926 seniors across Delaware’s three counties in 2024:

“Last year, the program served over 960,000 meals to seniors throughout the state,” Dodds says. “This Celebrity Chef Brunch is very important to help us to reach our goals, our fundraising goals so that we can contribute to those programs.”
General admission runs from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., while VIP ticket holders can enter at 11 a.m.
