When viewer recipe month delivers an outstanding sounding recipe for homemade baked beans who are we to say no Dylan miles 5552 I suppose Dylan miles is really his name submitted this recipe and we looked at it and we were like let’s think about this molasses bourbon brown sugar barbecue sauce a

You when we see you and we will be sending you a knife directly look this goes together really quick goes in the oven about an hourish and then oh boy we’re in Bean baked Heaven first things first Dylan tells us to chop 24 o of applewood bacon Into Thin strips put it

In a pot and cook it oh come on I really imagine that would be there you go by the way a couple tips along the way ladies and gentlemen when you write out a recipe you generally put the ingredients in the order that they’ll be used Dylan’s first ingredient were the

Beans second ingredient were the bacon and according to the recipe instruction we’re going to cook this on medium heat till most of the fat has been rendered then we’ll take it out carry on and when the bacon has rendered most of its fat there’s no direction for crispy

Not crispy wibbly the bacon at this point for me is the way I would like it in Bean so I’m going to call it done enough for me and I will remove it with a slotted spoon and if you find some sticking to the bottom no worries we’ll

Go the onions that are actually not next on the list they’re about five things down that’s okay one large videlia onion if you can find it if not one large yellow onion in like that cook for a few minutes until softened just give it a good stir so grease hits

Everybody so you can see the grease that was in there is mostly gone now so it wasn’t too too much and when the onions look like this it’s time for some garlic like if there was Grease in here still you could just throw it in but it’s a

Little dry so make a little space throw a little bit of oil in and I’ve got six cloves of minced garlic just like that and you know the drill at this point when it gets fragrant we’ll mix it in and then move on and that’s now here’s

The fun part of the recipe see all the stuff on the bottom we know how important that is we’re going to deglaze now with a half a cup of bourbon look look if you didn’t want to use the alcohol you could probably use a little beef stock would be fine in here chicken
