Bacon Wrapped Lit’l Smokies!!



Learn how to make these amazing and delicious bacon wrapped lit’l smokies! These would make a perfect appetizer or hors d’oeuvre at your next party or get together. Sure to be a hit! What you’ll need:
1 (13oz) pkg Hillshire Farms Lit’l Smokies
12oz bacon
approx 1 cup brown sugar
BBQ sauce of your choice (see how I make mine here: http://youtu.be/S_G5KOPMDLk )

Soak toothpicks in water for about 20 minutes before starting to make sure they don’t burn when these bake. Cut bacon into 3rds. Put brown sugar onto a plate. Take a piece of bacon and press the brown sugar on to make a nice coating. Wrap around a cocktail weenie and use a toothpick to secure the bacon. Place onto a cookie sheet lined with a silicone baking mat, parchment paper or aluminum foil. Continue pressing, wrapping and securing until all lil smokies are used. Bake in a preheated 350*F oven for about 30 minutes or until bacon is crisp and brown sugar is caramelized and bubbly. Serve with BBQ sauce. Makes 36-48 cocktail weenies. Enjoy!!
