Not your typical cakey from-scratch brownies! Rich, moist, fudgey, gooey, melt in your mouth brownies! Very similar texture to the boxed variety. The best I have ever made!

What you’ll need:
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 to 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Melt chocolate chips in a small bowl and set aside. Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs and mix well. Beat on high for 2 minutes for a thick crust, less for a soft crust. Mix in vanilla and melted chocolate chips. Add flour and salt and mix well. Fold in nuts if you want, now.

Pour batter into a greased and floured 8×8 pan and bake at 350* for 28-30 minutes or until a knife or toothpick comes out clean. Enjoy!
