A few months after relocating to its new home at 5566 Norbeck Road in Rockville’s Rock Creek Village Center, Full On Craft Eats & Drinks continues to attract customers with its nationally recognized sandwiches and a unique connection to one of television’s most popular cooking competitions.
The locally owned restaurant moved earlier this year from its longtime location at 4007 Norbeck Road, expanding into the former Creek Lodge Bar & Grill space. The larger location has allowed the restaurant to continue serving its popular menu of scratch-made sandwiches, house-roasted meats, homemade sauces, fresh sides, and a rotating selection of regional beer and wine.
Full On has earned statewide recognition, including being named Maryland’s best sandwich shop by Business Insider based on Yelp reviews, helping cement its reputation as one of the area’s top sandwich destinations.
Many diners may not realize that co-owner, chef, and manager Michelle Houser Harris competed on Season 14 of Fox’s Hell’s Kitchen in 2015. A graduate of Gaithersburg’s former L’Academie de Cuisine and an Olney native, Harris has helped shape the restaurant’s from-scratch approach and commitment to quality ingredients. You can watch a clip of Michelle on the Hell’s Kitchen YouTube channel here.
